About Jennifer Wynn

Jennifer Wynn is a cross-sector leader, award-winning professor, and founder of Wynn Strategies.  Jenn specializes in organizational transformation, change leadership, and repair in mission-driven enterprises. She partners with individuals, teams, organizations, and communities to live out their values and realize their full potential. 

Jenn is the former Director of Education at the Obama Foundation. There she led a team to design community leadership programs across the U.S.  Prior to that she was a manager in McKinsey & Company’s New York office, where she trained top executives globally as a founding team member of McKinsey Academy--the blended learning platform that McKinsey uses to build its clients’ capacity around management and leadership topics. 

Jenn is passionate about leadership development and education at all levels.  She was a board member of a private education technology company, has been a founding teacher and school leader of a middle school, served as a Director of Curriculum Management for a large charter school network, and developed courses for MBA and Executive MBA students at NYU Stern School of Business, where she is a Clinical Associate Professor.  

Jenn was named one of the “40 Best MBA Professors under 40” globally by Poets&Quants in 2024.  She has also received NYU Stern’s Distinguished Teaching Award for Teaching Excellence, NYU’s MLK Faculty Award, and The Consortium’s Phyllis Scott Buford Young Visionary Award.  Jenn has a MBA with distinction from NYU Stern School of Business, a M.Ed. from Hunter College, and a B.A. from Harvard University.  

She lives in New York City with her husband, Damian Williams, and two kids.
